Customs

Thank you so much for your interest in a custom MNTN Meadow piece!

Customs: I do accept customs. I offer customs in my designs and with the stones I currently have in stock. The time spent shopping for stones, researching reputable stone sellers, and securing stones in time can consume much of my work day. Simply put, I do not have the bandwidth to spend hours on that task. Unless you are willing to compensate me for that, just let me know in your initial discussions.

With that said I often have new stones coming in on a monthly basis- so please feel free to inquire.

My designs can be found on Instagram, Facebook, and in the gallery section on this website.

Upon deciding to work together, lets acknowledge some terms and conditions. All work is done by me and my hands and I stand behind my work. I source my metal material from Rio Grande, a US company. The precious metal market is making leaps and bounds lately (2025), therefore expect quotes to be updated with current prices.

Please be sure to reach out to Madelyn at mntnmeadowcoll@gmail.com to start discussions on your custom piece. I know there is a lot of information in the below, but I have to cover my back. Unfortunately there are people out there who can and will take advantage of the situation. To avoid future issues I must write out the conditions as so.

I stand behind my work, however I am not able to monitor the conditions in which my work is exposed to. If something breaks within an allotted time and is clearly a fabrication issue (band separates from setting, something falls off, etc), repairs will be covered. If the item has been damaged (metal is bent, gouged, scratched, etc), repairs can be done for a fee.

Repairs/Breakage - metal that moves can eventually break. This is in regard to cuffs, bolo loops, and adjustable style rings, etc. If purchased and one of these items breaks, it is considered "wear and tear". Repairs can be made for a fee. Cuffs should never be bent open, if you need a tutorial on how to wear a cuff see this video. Bolo loops should only be squeezed down, never bent open. Adjustable rings should not be adjusted each time, only slight adjustments on rare occasions.

You are responsible for providing your accurate ring size. If you find your custom ring is too big/small, it is unlikely edits can be made. If too big, rings absolutely cannot be sized down without redoing the entire piece. If too small, there is a possibility of stretching the band 1/4 size.

You are responsible for providing your accurate cuff size. If your custom cuff is too big, I can possibly cut down the cuff to make smaller. If too small- there is nothing I can do without redoing it.

You are responsible for providing your accurate necklace length. If your custom necklace is too long/short, edits can be made.

As a silversmith I primarily work with sterling silver. However with the rising costs associated with sterling, I do have the ability to incorporate brass or bronze with my pieces to help save in costs.

My process is through fabrication- I do not cast pieces.

Can I send you stones? Yes, I would be happy to work with stones that you have. The stones MUST be finished as cabochons. I do not cut, polish or finish stones/ivory/pearls/etc. When you ship them to me, you are responsible for your package. I cannot be held liable for lost packages- please insure, package and ship your stones accordingly.
